Interesting fact about yourself that people wouldn’t expect?
I hosted a reggae radio show in Denver and in the Coachella Valley.

Favorite place(s) in the world and why?
London – I love the music scene, the different neighborhood personalities, the hustle and bustle, and it has a different kind of international diversity that I really enjoy immersing myself in.
Mexico – from Mexico City, Oaxaca, to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Pacific to the Caribbean, the food, the culture – Mexico’s got it going on. Still so much of that country to explore.
Manila and the Philippines in general– My family is from the islands and the city really is one of the most energetic and culturally rich places I’ve ever been to. The beaches, like on the island of Palawan, are insane. Once you’re in the country, most things are unbelievably cheap, including hotels and food.

First music memory (first song you remember hearing or learning)?
My family was (and are still) big on karaoke, and they will forever associate me with the song I was forced to sing when I was little: “What a Feeling (Flashdance)” by Irene Cara.

Your most treasured possession?
My aunt’s college ring from Far Eastern University in the Philippines.

If you could learn anything instantly by downloading it into your brain Matrix-style, what would it be?
All the languages of the world.
